Should driver's licenses be revoked at a certain age?

Pros:

    Many senior citizens have health problems that may affect their ability to operate a vehicle safely.

    Roads may be very busy and make driving more difficult for older motorists.

    Older drivers are statistically more dangerous drivers than all younger motorists except beginners.

Cons:

    Senior citizens should have the option of maintaining their independence.

    Driving ability is better in some older individuals than in some middle-aged individuals, so this would be unfairly discriminating against them on age alone.

    Losing a driver's license may cause an individual to feel incompetent.
