Should partial birth abortions be permitted?

Pros:

    By banning partial birth abortions, the woman's right to choose this option has been taken away.

    The fetus is not a living person.

Cons:

    The fetus has entered the world and is killed; some may call this murder.

    There are other abortion options that will remain available.

    This particular procedure has never been needed to protect a woman's health.
